I thought I'd get Christmassy with my silly little game of the week. I haven't done one for a while. Apologies about that.
Anyhow, to make up for it, I bring you Santa, haplessly brought down in mid flight into zombie land.
Help him save the reindeer!!!
Last night, my "old-reliable" took a fall that put it over the edge. After years of abuse including beach trips where it got filled with sand, my attempt to clean it with "Dust Off" which permanently destroyed the screen, sticky fingers taking pictures of beloved pets, getting temporarily lost at Crag Cave in Ireland and fall after fall after fall, my Sony Cyber-shot has shot its last pic.
Goodbye Cyber-shot, it was a pleasure working with you, I have never had such a reliable camera and I will never forget all the fond memories we created together.
On a more uplifting note. Here is a picture of the newest U2 Coverband, "The Cuties"
coming soon to a playground near you.
The three-ring circus that is Tiger Woods Inc. is causing such a flurry of media attention that even my beautiful 17- month-old niece Lucy is getting in on the action. According to her agent (who also happens to be her mother), Lucy is shopping this photo around to the tabloids, the highest bidder wins the rights!
All money made will go into a special fund for: purple and green clothing, mid-morning bagels, jewelry cleaner and gloves :)
Ohgosh, I just have to show this to those in my 'hood who may have missed this when Kirk posted this yesterday.
Unbeaaaaaarable cutenesses!!! -
My Etsy shop: http://basilthecat.etsy.com has been hopping since Black Friday. I am currently running a sale and it has been a great success, however, I do such a much needed vacation in my near future.
Here are my two cuties in their matching Thanksgiving duds:
Have a great week!
Call it mothers intuition. I woke up at six thirty this morning. I nearly went back to sleep, but I thought I'd just wander out to the kitchen first.
The fridge was open, and food was scattered in a little line leading to the door in our window where das weezels access their outdoor pen. Feck.
So, nearly an hour later I've rescued mushrooms, celery and carrots from the cage, and am fully awake. Stuffin is staring sleepily up at me from his sleeping box, after having spent most of my cleaning time roaming around inside my sweater, or perching like a pirate's parrot on my shoulder.
I love him so much, but I really really wish he wasn't such a Bad Egg.
He's been lying in my lap while I check the email. Very unusual for Weez, he usually only lies still for his Papa. Stuffin' is Mama's boy. However, today I have the affections of The Weez, perhaps because I took him out walking in the woods yesterday.
He also has the hiccups. Ferret hiccups are SO SO cute!
